9-31 December Lights of Lobethal Adelaide Hills The whole town lights up for Christmas, and hosts lights, markets and a living nativity.
27-28 December Bay Sheffield Carnival Adelaide Australia’s second richest foot race is held in the historic and vibrant seaside suburb of Glenelg.
31 December – 6 January Next Generation Clubs Adelaide International (Tennis) Adelaide. One of five lead up events to the Australian Open. Played just two weeks before the first Grand Slam of the year, the event offers players the ideal preparation for the Australian Open
January Port MacDonnell Bayside Festival Limestone Coast A family festival including novelty competitions, food, wine, music, exhibitions and entertainment.
19-27 January Tour Down Under Adelaide and Regional South Australia Australia’s premier international cycling event. The fittest men on two wheels hit the streets of Adelaide and surrounds in a true test of endurance, these elite sportsmen will battle for the ochre jersey over seven days in the highest ranked international cycling event in the Southern Hemisphere. Cyclists of all ages can also participate in the Breakaway Series of rides – The Mutual Community Fun Tour, Mutual Community Challenge Tour and the Powerade mini tour for kids.
26-28 January Port Lincoln Tunarama Festival Eyre Peninsula Celebrating this area’s famous fish, the event includes music, food, wine, parades, amusements and the famous Tuna Toss.
